Spellslinging battle royale Spellbreak is headed to Steam in December, marking the conclusion of its period as an Epic Games Store exclusive.<\/p>\n

Spellbreak became an Epic Games Store exclusive upon entering paid early access, fully releasing earlier this year, in September, as a free-to-play title.<\/p>\n

While most other battle royale games make use of firearms as the main way of eliminating opponents, developer Proletariat’s latest project takes a different approach to combat, focusing on blending different elemental spells and hurling them at your opponents.<\/p>\n

Spellbreak Launches on Steam in December<\/h2>\n

As of December 15, Spellbreak will also be available on Steam. You can already keep track of it via its very own page.<\/p>\n

Its latest major update, Prologue, dropped last month. It not only introduced a new 9v9 team deathmatch mode, but also laid the foundation for the Chapter system that will develop the story over time.<\/p>\n

Spellbreak is free-to-play and available now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n
