Wondering how to free Brick in Cyberpunk 2077? Unsure how to complete this optional objective found during The Pickup?<\/p>\n

As you go through Cyberpunk 2077’s first act, you’ll have to see the quest named The Pickup to its end. Figuring out how to free Brick isn’t mandatory, but if you’re all about completing optional objectives and seeing as much of the game as possible, you’ll want to do so.<\/p>\n

You’ll find Brick in a small room behind a locked door. He’s in quite the predicament but, luckily, there are two ways to free him.<\/p>\n

Cyberpunk 2077 How to Free Brick During The Pickup<\/h2>\n

The first method is available to every player. As you’re facing the door that’s between you and Brick, look to the right. Go through that door, and interact with the laptop on the right.<\/p>\n

Open the Messages folder, then read the one titled only you guys know. In it, you’ll find the code that opens the door leading to Brick: 9691. Head back, interact with the keypad and type in the code.<\/p>\n

Brick is in a bit of a bind as he’s targeted by a laser linked to a mine. If he moves, well, he’ll get to explore every little corner of the room as tiny little Brick bits.<\/p>\n

If you head back to the room where you find the laptop and look just left of the entrance, you’ll spot a detonator. Interact with it and you’ll have figured out how to free Brick during Cyberpunk 2077’s The Pickup mission.<\/p>\n

The other method is more straightforward but requires at least 7 points invested in the Tech skill. First, you’ll want to hack the keypad, which lets you enter the room. Then, you’ll be able to also hack the mine.<\/p>\n

Saving Brick won’t get you anything right away, as he seems to have lost his magical video game NPC pockets. He does, however repay you later on.<\/p>\n
