The Polish studio announced Dying Light 2 back at E3\u00a0 2018, revealing it would be coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. They\u2019ve now gone one step further, claiming Dying Light 2 has been designed since the beginning to be a cross-gen title.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Techland always has an eye on the latest new toys!\u201d <\/em>said Techlands\u2019s Pavel Rohleder during a chat with WCCFTech. <em>\u201cTo be more specific \u2014 yes, the plan since the beginning of production has been to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>From the sounds of things then, Dying Light 2 will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, the PS5, Xbox Scarlett, and, naturally, PC. Techland is currently targeting native 1080p resolution on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, while the sky\u2019s obviously the limit for PC players.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It should mean that Dying Light 2 ends up being a fantastic-looking game, hopefully. The original was actually quite under-rated in terms of visuals but for the time I thought it looked great. The PC version should look even better as well, with Techland admitting they\u2019re taking a serious look at incorporated ray-traced lighting effects into Dying Light 2.<em> \u201cAt Techland, we have always been keen on new technologies, especially when it comes to photo-realism and graphical fidelity,\u201d<\/em> explained Rohleder. <em>\u201cRay tracing has been the holy grail of real-time computer graphics for years, so of course we are looking into it.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><ins class=\"adsbygoogle scrolling-ad-item\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0052787453283862\" data-ad-slot=\"2741061911\"><\/ins><\/p>\n<p>On the subject of Nvidia DLSS support though?
